The Kohbee platform enables creators to run their entire business on one platform seamlessly on desktop or mobile: courses, communities, products, leads, sales. At a certain point, that business is no longer a solo operation. There's someone handling customer support, someone editing content, someone managing social. Each of them needs to be on the platform, but only for what they actually do.
The brief: design a user management system embedded into the Kohbee app that lets business owners build and control their team. Four tiers of access: Owner, Admin, Manager, Collaborator, each with a different view of the platform and different permissions within it. Owners see everything: sales reports, leads database, all products. A collaborator might only see the tasks assigned to them.
A single user can also belong to multiple teams under different brands, each with an independent role. Someone might be the owner of one team and a collaborator for another. The dashboard adapts according to the role and its pre-defined access permissions.
This was one of several micro-SaaS tools I designed as a Product Designer at Kohbee.
Four-tier role hierarchy (Owner, Admin, Manager, Collaborator), each with distinct views, permissions, and task assignment rights scoped to their level.
Instructional empty state dashboard, guiding new users to take action from the start.
Multi-team support: one user can belong to multiple brands with independent roles and separate customized dashboards
Fully responsive across desktop and mobile, with interaction patterns adapted per platform rather than just scaled down.
